Our offices
BPL Global’s headquarters are in London, where the company was founded in 1983. In London, we have the largest broking team in the CPRI market and count amongst our clients many of the world’s leading financial institutions, exporters, commodity traders and corporate investors.
Our Paris office was established in 2001 and is led by Lucia Petry. Having joined BPL Global in 2014, Lucia works closely with multinational corporate clients to tailor CPRI solutions for their export needs.
In 2011, we opened a branch office in Hong Kong in response to the growing demand for CPRI in the Asia Pacific region. The following year we established a subsidiary company in Singapore. Harry McIndoe is Chief Executive of BPL Global Singapore and oversees our business across Asia Pacific, where our client base includes the region’s major financial institutions, exporters and commodity traders, as well as the subsidiaries of our multinational clients.
2018 marked the opening of our office in New York which was established to provide financial institutions and multinational corporations with a seamless service across the Americas. The office is headed up by John Lavelle.
We also opened our Geneva office in 2018, established to provide local support for our Swiss-based clients and develop new relationships in this globally renowned trading hub. The office is led by Philippine de Villèle, who works closely with commodity traders, banks and exporters.
BPL Global is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK, by ORIAS in France, by the State Department of Financial Services in New York, by the Confederation of Insurance Brokers in Hong Kong, by the Monetary Authority of Singapore in Singapore, and by FINMA in Switzerland.

Our compliance department is solely focused on CPRI and can provide clients with bespoke guidance on regulatory and licensing issues that can arise from conducting cross-border business around the world.

We can service clients’ global needs wherever they are located.
Our office network and worldwide contacts give us broad geographical reach to service clients across multiple jurisdictions. In addition, we also have in-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment which applies to global, cross-border insurance placements. Unlike other brokers, our compliance department is solely focused on CPRI and so can provide clients with bespoke guidance on regulatory and licensing considerations that can arise with such insurance business.
In many instances, we are able to place business directly for clients in jurisdictions where we do not have a physical presence, such as Canada and South Africa, and certain countries in the Asia Pacific region, including Malaysia and Australia.
In other instances, we can advise on fronting arrangements whereby a local insurer issues the insurance policy and we source corresponding reinsurance coverage from overseas insurers. Jurisdictions where we have supported clients in this way range from Mexico, Chile and Argentina through to China and Japan as well as countries throughout the Middle East.
