As an independent insurance broker, we place our clients at the centre of our approach – acting exclusively and unambiguously as their agent in order to provide the highest quality service and advice.
Sian Aspinall
Managing Director
Sian has over 25 years’ experience in the CPRI market and is a regular speaker and panellist at industry conferences.
James Esdaile
Managing Director
James and Sian work together to set the company’s strategic course and ensure the highest levels of service for clients.
At BPL Global, we are uniquely placed in the credit and political risk insurance (CPRI) market to get the best results for our clients, delivering tailored insurance solutions which address their individual requirements.
We have unrivalled expertise in credit and political risk insurance
With over 35 years’ experience, we are widely regarded by clients and peers as the CPRI market’s leading insurance broker – a view reinforced by consistent recognition in industry awards.
We specialise in CPRI
Unlike other brokers, we are solely focused on CPRI – enabling us to provide a specialist service that is second-to-none.
World Leading Expertise
Our people include many of the most experienced practitioners in the CPRI market and as an independent broker, we always put our clients’ interests first.

Many of our client relationships span more than 25 years; we believe we are the broker of choice for clients, who value our expertise and breadth of experience.
We act exclusively for policyholders, not insurers
Our aim is to ensure that our clients – the policyholders – obtain the best terms, pricing and service from insurers. We put our clients’ interests ahead of all other considerations, acting exclusively as their agent and having no obligations to insurers, or any other parties, in conflict with that role.
We allow our clients to agree the basis of our remuneration, which is disclosed in a transparent manner in insurance contracts, and take no additional payments or commissions from insurers.
We are a retailer
We deal directly with our clients so that we can understand and service their needs. We do not operate as a wholesale broker, except where this is necessary for regulatory reasons.
We are independent
We value our financial and operational independence very highly. We are proud to be employee-owned, providing continuity for our teams and our clients, and allowing us to build long-term relationships.
