Throughout her time at BPL Global, Lucia has primarily focused on working with corporate clients – including both exporters and investors. She has played a key role in developing new covers for French investors, offering alternatives to traditional breach of contract policies and MIGA products.

Upon joining BPL Global in 2014, Lucia already had four years of credit and political risk broking experience under her belt – first working for Platus, and then for Aon, specialising in solutions for political risk, terrorism and surety.

Prior to broking, Lucia trained in international and intellectual property law, undertaking various placements in Paris, Mauritius and La Réunion. The legal expertise she gained in dealing with international contracts has since lent itself well to placing policies across the world for BPL Global’s clients.

Lucia holds two Master’s degrees: one in Industrial Property Law (Panthéon-Assas – Paris II) and the other in Public & Private European & International Law (Institut du Droit de la Paix & du Développement), as well as the Certificate of Aptitude for the Legal Profession (CAPA). She is fluent in both English and French.
